During the school year (Sept-May) we have Sunday School classes for children from K-6th grade. Children are invited to the children’s message during worship and then are dismissed to their Sunday School classrooms for a time of learning about God’s word and many fun activities. We also have one Sunday School class for children during the summer.
We offer several opportunities for adult bible studies and discussions. Each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM we host a bible study led by lay leader Tom Keller in the Fellowship Hall. We discuss pertinent topics and scripture lessons that are relevant to today. On Tuesday mornings at 9:30 also in the Fellowship Hall we have another bible study that meets and studies various books of the bible. No books are needed other than your bible if you wish to bring one for either class!
The Christian Education team is trying something new! On the first Sunday of every month, children will be with their families in worship. We think there are benefits to children to be in worship with their families. The first Sunday of each month is also communion Sunday, so children will have the opportunity to participate in communion. We will reevaluate this plan at semester. Parents, PLEASE let us know after Christmas how you think this worked.
